About me

Hi, I’m Kate — mom of toddler triplets, certified chaos survivor, and living proof that you can function on coffee, crumbs, and pure adrenaline for longer than medically recommended. When three kids entered my life at the same time, my home didn’t just get messy — it became a full-contact extreme sport.

I used to think a clutter-free home was a cute idea for people who slept eight hours a night and owned matching socks. But then came the moment — you know the one — where you step on a Lego, spill your coffee, hear “MAMA LOOK!” for the 400th time, and realize:

This isn’t sustainable… and the toddlers aren’t going anywhere.

That’s when minimalism stopped being a Pinterest board and became my lifeline.
Not the aesthetic kind.
Not the beige-everything kind.
The “I need to stay sane before someone climbs the bookshelf again” kind.

Minimalism, for me, became:

  • fewer decisions,

  • fewer piles,

  • fewer “why is this sticky?” moments —
and a whole lot more breathing room.

And once I felt that shift — that tiny slice of calm inside the chaos — I knew I had to help other parents find it too.

That’s why I created In Harmony With Less: a guilt-free, pressure-free, realistic place for exhausted parents who want to stop drowning in stuff and start actually enjoying their home (and their kids… most days).

This is minimalism for:

  • the families with snack wrappers under the car seats

  • the families who laugh cry at the laundry mountain

  • the families who try their best, love deeply, and occasionally hide in the bathroom just to breathe

Here, you won’t find perfectionism or judgment. And you definitely won’t find a “10-step routine before sunrise” guide.

What you will find is my H.A.R.M.O.N.Y. Method — a gentle, realistic way to make your home feel calmer without needing a personality transplant.

It blends:

  • Gentle minimalism (less clutter, less pressure)

  • Mindful sustainability (good for the planet and your sanity)

  • Joyful parenting (connection over perfection, always)

With me, you’ll learn:

  • How to declutter without losing your mind (or your will to live)

  • How to make your home work for you instead of against you

  • How to build tiny habits that keep chaos from winning

  • How to involve your kids without sparking a toddler uprising

  • And how to shift from survival mode to actually feeling present again

Because minimalism isn’t about less stuff — it’s about more space, more calm, more you.

If you’re craving a moment of peace, a home that feels like a soft exhale, and maybe one day finding your keys on the first try… you’re in the right place.

Let’s make life lighter — one small, very doable step at a time.
